I have had nothing but positive experiences at Exeter Hospital. From primary care to care for chronic conditions, they make it easy to refill medications, book appointments and stay on top of follow up. Yesterday (a holiday no less!) I was experiencing stomach pain and went to the ER where I was promptly greeted by smiling faces, triaged quickly, and taken to a room after a very short wait. A nurse immediately got me settled and took my vitals, a doctor came to see me right away, labs were drawn and imaging was done as soon as possible. Turns out I needed an appendectomy, and the surgical team came in from their day off and got me in and out of surgery in under an hour. Went home the same day. Exeter Hospital runs like a well oiled machine- topping experiences I’ve had at larger hospitals in Boston. So grateful for all of the staff who treated me with kindness, dignity, and respect.

I had a family member that needed to go to the emergency department on Sunday afternoon. Everyone was so kind and patient with her. They explained everything and she ended up being admitted. She originally was put on the fourth floor and had great care everybody was attentive to her needs. She was downgraded to PCU and the nurses and doctors were exceptional!!! I can’t say enough about them! I am so glad that this was the hospital that the ambulance took her to that day! Her stay was six days long and she did not have one bad experience!

Genuinely had a great experience here today - arrived for a CT scan and they were prompt checking me in and giving helpful advice. The wait to get in CT was normal and the technologist who performed my scan was phenomenal. She was knowledgeable, personable, and very skilled at her job.

I'm still not sure about thier emergency room, though, I have had better experiences with them in recent times than in the past. My doctor is affiliated with Core Physicians so I have to use Exeter. I had to go for a medical procedure and it went well. Everyone I encountered was friendly and professional. The instructions I was given prior to the procedure were precise and my email questions were answered quickly. The procedure was explained, as well as the risks, and the immediate results were told to me. I would have to wait for the lab 🧫 results. My concerns were not dismissed and we discussed them prior to the procedure. I was complimented on how young I look and was asked how I wished to be addressed. I was thanked for following the instructions they sent 📤 me and I was given a copy of my Covid-19 test results, which were negative. They contacted my ride a half hour before the procedure finished. I've been for other examinations and procedures and they went well. Complimentary valet parking provided at entrance. Parking garage across from main entrance. You are encouraged to wear a facemask if you are having cold symptoms. Their cardiology department I was impressed with. Follow ups went well. Cafe was good. I just had a veggie burger. It was no thrills. The cooked food that was available looked good 👍. Seasonal outside seating available. I will recommend this hospital. Their reputation has improved. Wifi available. Information ℹ️ desk at the entrance.

Working with Tyler at Exeter Hospital Center for Orthopedic and Movement was an excellent experience. I was assigned to the center by my PCP because I was suffering pain in both shoulders and thanks to Tyler's thoughtful guidance and skill, I now enjoy pain-free mobility. Highly recommend.

I had my C-section at Exeter Hospital and I truly can’t say enough good things about the labor and delivery team. I went in feeling really anxious, and they immediately made me feel safe and supported. They reassured me every step of the way, especially during the moments that felt the most overwhelming. When needles were involved, they held my hand, talked me through it, and made sure I wasn’t alone in it. They even did little things that meant so much—like wiping my tears, rubbing my head, putting cool wet towels on my forehead, and just being so gentle, patient, and present. After delivery, the attentiveness didn’t stop. They continued to check in, make sure I was comfortable, and supported me through recovery. I’m so grateful for the care I received. They didn’t just do their jobs—they truly cared, and it made all the difference in such a big moment of my life.

Doctor Rong Tang at general surgery and the ER actually took me seriously after having my skin problem brushed off as impetigo elsewhere it got much worse and much more painful arrived at the ED and got referrals to Dr Tang at general surgery and she was excellent and gave very detailed clinical notes. She also did a great job explaining everything about my biopsy was quick and dressed it very well! She actually cares I hope you never find yourself in general surgery but if you are I hope you Get Dr Tang!

I went to the emergency room with strange, unexplained symptoms, and expected to be given a tylenol and steroids and sent home. Instead, the team in the emergency departments and general hospital both demonstrated exceptional professionalism and dedication to solving my complex case. After many tests done in emergency care with no real answers, I thought they might give up. I was moved to general care and was treated with such kindness and respect by every professional that came in my room. Everyone was exceedingly pleasant, friendly and professional! I strongly felt that my nurses and doctors were as interested in solving this hard to explain case as I was. I had my own ideas about potential causes and honestly, they all involved rare disorders/genetic shortcomings. I was worried that bringing these ideas up would be met with dismissal, but instead they were met with interest and concern. I had requested some oddball tests for these rare disorders and Dr. Morin and my phlebotomy team happily ordered these in with zero hesitation. They put in a lot of effort to help me get to the bottom of this. I was at first really hesitant to spend time in the hospital and worried that my concerns would be overlooked, especially when it came down to hunting for rarer causes of my symptoms after common issues were ruled out. I can't emphasize enough how much my care providers exceeded my expectations! I do not remember the names of each provider, as I was pretty anxious. Dr. Morin (DO), Robin Miller (PA in emergency room), and all of my nurses were beyond exceptional at what they do!
